We raise Maine-Anjou Cattle. This gentle heritage breed was developed in the Maine and Anjou Provinces in France. This breed is usually referred to as “Anjou Beef” and can be seen on many “white table” restaurant menus. Maine-Anjou cattle mature and finish at a younger age than most other breeds and thus result in an extremely tender and flavorful meat. Here in Iowa many raise Maine Anjou for Show Cattle because of their docile and willing nature.
