About Shanen
Shanen Ebersole, "RanchMama Shanen," is a first-generation cattle rancher and co-owner of Ebersole Cattle Company in Kellerton, Iowa, where she and her husband Beau raise Maine-Anjou cattle on regeneratively grazed pastures. For over 25 years she has produced 100% grass-fed and finished beef, delivered rancher-direct to families across the country. Featured on CNN four times and hosted on Nutrition for Christian Women, Working Cows Podcast, Fallon Forum, Around the Nation, and CNN All Over the Map.
Her signature message: you don't have to spend Sunday meal prepping to feed your family well. What you need is a system that runs itself and a freezer stocked with nutrient-dense food straight from your rancher. She combines an authentic ranch perspective with practical, actionable takeaways that help listeners feel confident feeding their families well.
In Her Own Words
"Feeding your family well isn't a willpower problem. It's a system problem. Fix the system and healthy meals happen by default."
"Healthy homemade meals start before the stove. They start with a rancher you trust, a freezer you've stocked, and a system you can run on autopilot."
"Grandma kept a full pantry. Today's busy mom needs a full freezer, a simple system, and a rancher she knows by name."
"Healthy family meals don't come from meal prep. They come from a simple system and a fully stocked freezer."
